I made this very website using Publii (an open-source CMS generating static, lightweight HTML pages) and a base template theme customised to fit some simple needs.

My four priorities in the making were:

• it should look great everywhere
  the adaptive design fits every kind of display
• it should look professional
  custom domain name, straight-to-the-point content
• it should be snappy
  simple code, static pages, optimised media
• it should be easy to maintain
  hosted by GitLab Pages, updated with a git command
